Alice with Sleeping Queens

Yorktown Theatre students, under the direction of Carol Cadby, technical direction of Maiba Bodrick, and choreography by Brooke Weber & Ryan Sellers, present Alice in Wonderland.

In the 1860s, English author Charles Lutwidge Dodgson wrote Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass under the pen name Lewis Carroll. Both stories chronicle the journey of a seven-year-old girl named Alice as she breaks through a mirror and falls down a rabbit hole into an imaginary world populated by peculiar creatures and conventions.

Using mime, puppetry, and creative casting, Yorktown Theatre’s production will follow her adventure through both books and once again ingeniously explore the fantastical and disjointed world of a child’s dreams.
