Auditions to Be Held Dec. 2-4 for "Anything Goes"

Ahoy there!  Grab your dancing shoes and get ready to show us what you got.  


Yorktown High School Theatre Arts invites students to audition for the perennial favorite musical, Anything Goes beginning Monday, December 2 and ending Wednesday, December 4.


Callbacks will be Friday, December 12 and Saturday, December13. Please read carefully for details.


  • Dec 2: Dance, 3:30-6:00 pm in the Auditorium (Required)

  • Dec 3-4: Singing, 3:20-6:20 in the Choir Room



Please Note:

The first cast meeting (and parent informational meeting) will be on Thursday, December 19.


Synopsis

The S. S. American is sailing between New York and England with a comically colorful assemblage of passengers: Reno Sweeney, a popular nightclub singer and former evangelist, her pal Billy Crocker, a lovelorn Wall Street broker who has come aboard to try to win the favor of his beloved Hope Harcourt (who is engaged to another passenger, Sir Evelyn Oakleigh), and a second-rate con man named Moonface Martin, aka “Public Enemy #13." Song, dance, and farcical antics ensue as Reno and Moonface try to help Billy win the love of his life.
